anyways it was a fun filled weekend of

Friday night I hit up the boat parade!

We decided to do this first for my friend Nicole’s birthday!

our dear friends gained custody of their precious boy

Jackson.

They are celebrating in Uganda as a family of

THREE!

Still hurdles to cross

and prayers are much

appreciated.

But the Brinks went from

a family of

2.

to

3.

PTL!

{praise the Lord}

BD’s Birthday {week}

as promised

brett’s birthday celebration{s}

He’s almost been 26 for a week now.

but friday night was when we were going to

celebrate.

however celebrations started last sunday.

{exactly a week ago}

I cooked him, his birthday dinner.

{he is special!}

tuesday was his actual birthday.

I knew we wouldn’t have much time at night together

because of a basketball tournament.

so…

we celebrated  in the morning!

{birthday cake is so last year, welcome the birthday doughnut}

he even opened his presents before work.

undies.

Friday night was his only night off

and I wanted to take him out on the town.

he we were both exhausted.

so I took him out to the Mertens’ town.

 

pizza & beer.

football & movie.

pulled out couch.

perfect night.

all in all he {I think} had a great week.

two… 2… more weeks till

How can it be December already!

I feel like it was just two months ago

I was freezing in Nebraska

celebrating Christmas.
