Happy Birthday to my
studly
handsome
inspiring
fun loving
silly
best.friend. & husband.
I love you!
Although it’s 4 days past
Thanksgiving
and I wanted to write on
Thanksgiving.
I am much more thankful for
time.
For the time
we were able to spend with
family & friends.
instead of write or take pictures.
BD & I were able to spend
three {3} days in
Colorado
{not nearly enough time, but it is time}
We were able to meet
Precious Baby Delaney!
{her shirt says “My Auntie is Awesome
which, I am}
spend time with {some} of Brett’s Family.
this is only about 1/18 {?!} of the cousins.
and grandpa of course!
{picture courtesy of my MIL}
We spent some time at
Garden of the Gods
{a failed attempt at a re-enactment}
but none the less. fun.
I.love.her.
Bentley was in heaven while we were gone.
she got to stay with her
uncle timmy.
{this is an old photo, but you can see the love}
Thank you uncle timmy!!
while our time in
Colorado
was short
I’m thankful for the time we were
able to have there.
Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good.
His love endures forever.
Psalm 136:1
The hubs knows me so well…
why I run… cereal…
Mexican…
{made by the hubs}
and of course.
cupcakes.
B felt left out.
{ouch}
Turning 26 wasn’t all that bad…
a day with the hubs…
dinner cooked by the hubs…
sprinkles with the hubs…
I am so blessed.
364 days ago
I was about to turn a
quarter of century old.
today is officially my last day being
25.
{don’t worry the hubs is 10 days behind me}
Where did time go?!
My top 3 memories of 25:
{in no order}
3. Long Beach half marathon with BD.
As I say goodbye to 25.
I say hello to another niece,
Finley Reagan.
Happy BIRTHday Baby Finley!
I didn’t think Friday would ever get here!
I have been one day a head of myself since
TUESDAY
{that’s never good.. thinking Tuesday is Wednesday}
It’s hard having a four day work week,
going into a five day work week,
knowing you have a week {sort of} off.
we do have a conference Monday & Tuesday
but you know!
What I think is even harder is knowing
Leaving for CO is so close!
Happy Friday Everyone!!!
Oh! and
How about them Broncos!
wow
it’s sad when I had to check my own blog
to see what I wrote about last.
I’ve been a bum.
{in the keeping all my friends mom updated with our life}
Last week went by in a flash.
work was crazy
and it was only a 4 day week.
One highlight:
Happy Hour & The Blue Man Group!
{blog fail=no picture}
Friday night was BD’s last football game.
The boys got to play under the lights.
The Saints went 5-4!
compared to 0-19
the past two years!
Saturday night we attended our school’s
Annual Treasure the Truth Dinner.
we clean up nicely
Colorado in 7 days!
Before then…
4 days of work.
volleyball game.
basketball.
professional conferences in long beach.
homework.
possible birthday.
{sorry cold-state friends}
but it is FREEZING very cold here.
My bones aren’t use to it.
But it makes for great
Football
weather.
Football season for Brett is
almost over.
Last night they played under the lights.
it was a whooping
40-something degrees.
a true fall football game.
northface jacket.
football gloves.
scarf.
starbucks.
{picture compliments of Emily }
This morning was the 10K Dino Dash!
Shannon, a co-worker friend and I met up
for a little 6.2 miles.
{still 40-something degrees}
it was a smaller race then what I am use to
and I LOVED it.
no portta potty line.
no corals.
no crowds
I enjoyed 6.2 miles before I was done.
Out of the blue Shannon and I decided to check our times.
much to my surprise
I placed 3rd!
{in my age division 25-29}
I still can’t believe it!
the rain started.
I dashed home.
walked into the door to my
two favorites
bundled and warm.
I joined them and
the rest is history.
Happy November!
It’s hard to believe it is November!
We have a lot of different things coming up
making things go at a much quicker pace.
November is filled with:
running a 10k
{more on that in a minute}
Birthdays
Thanksgiving
Colorado
Professional Conferences
Classes
Football & Basketball.
After November our December is pretty packed, too!
Love our crazy.beautiful.life.
Back to the 10k
THIS WEEKEND!
Yes, we live in SoCal
we can have races all year long
but just look at the weather!
a HIGH of 54* seriously?!
ear-muffs.
gloves.
running tights.
parka!
Other than it being November
only 50-some degrees
not much else exciting is going on.
