Sunday {fun day}

was cloudy not a day for the beach or pool

like I had planned.

Instead we hit the movies for

Hangover Part II

I was ready to BBQ since it was

Memorial Day Weekend!

And that’s just what we did!

Some friends came over and we

BBQed it up!

Sunday I mean Monday

was BEAUITFUL!

POOL weather…

after homework.

but we made it to the pool.

Love.love.love.

It was a great weekend to kick off

I got to admit I’m sucker for

three-day weekends

it’s just something about Sunday

really being like Saturday.

Memorial Day Weekend is like a

kick off to

SUMMER!

Gorgeous Weather

and

BBQ’s!

Friday night we BD kicked off the weekend

with 9 holes of golf!

Golf season is over

the banquet was Friday Night.

Saturday the hubby

18 holes of golf planned

which meant shopping and crafting for me!

Saturday night was also

DATE NIGHT!

I had purchased a groupon

for wine tasting here in Orange County

and it was about to expire!

We had to use it!

It was a different experience

than Temecula Wine Tasting!

But we put on our smiles

and had fun.

{I love him}

Dinner followed the wine.

{I broke this weekend up I didn’t realize how much we did I like to type!}

I am ready to race again…

Wish I had more time right now

to train

but hoping I will have more

in the Summer

and Fall!

Cause I’m now

signed up for

half marathons this fall.

It’s always easier to run

when you have sometime to run for!

Thought I’d share it……

In a radio interview, a basketball superstar was asked about his knack for making the game-winning shot in crucial situations. The reporter asked how he was able to be so calm in such pressure-packed moments. His answer was that he tried to simplify the situation. “You only have to make one shot,” the player replied. One shot. That is the essence of simplifying a difficult situation. Focus only on what is in front of you right now. Don’t worry about the expectations of your coach or teammates. Simplify.

Recognizing that the challenges of life can be both overwhelming and suffocating, Jesus urged us to take matters in hand by simplifying. He said, “Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble” (Matt. 6:34). This was His wise conclusion to His teaching on the debilitating power of worry. Worry doesn’t accomplish anything positive; it just adds to the sense that we are drowning in the troubles we are facing. We must take things as they come­—one day at a time­—and trust Him for the wisdom to respond properly.

If you feel overwhelmed by life, do what you can today and then entrust the rest to Him. As Jesus said, “Each day has enough trouble of its own” (NIV).

It will only bring you sorrow;
But give them to the Lord instead—
He’ll take care of your tomorrow. —Sper

We lose the joy of living in the present
when we worry about the future.

After our long day sightseeing

we decided to get dressed up

and hit up the town of

brotherly love.

we headed for the subway station.

I’ve been on plenty…

but wow!

I sucked it up and made my way to and from the stadium

on the subway.

only for ONE day.

The Hubbster tried a

Philly Cheesesteak.

I stuck to a good old fashion

I think it was my first.ever.

After an afternoon

nap.

Dinner was calling our names.

We really wanted to go to

El Vez

but they have no reservations left

and over a two hour wait.

We settled for

It was so late by the time we were done with dinner

there was not hitting up Philly

Just a peaceful night sleep.
