One thing I try really hard at is

Making something New

once a week

{as in dinner}

I seem to go through stages.

When B and I first meet

he thought I was Asian.

I would eat rice, stir-fry, chow mein

every meal if I could!

Now Mexican is the pick!

{Maybe cause we’re closer to Mexico?}

We have Mexican at least twice a week.

This past weekend I tried this baby…

Hi Weekend, Bye Weekend

Two things that I can hardly believe.

1.  the weekend is over

2. April is in three days!

Seriously where did March go!?

We spent our weekend in

The O.C.

No excursions

But it was nice.

The hubby golfed,

I baked,

Bentley was Bentley.

The hubby also did this

{All day on Funday Sunday}

He is not studying…

This my friends is a tough guy at work.

When I the hubby finished the taxes

I rewarded myself with a

DOUNUT PAN!

{Everyone needs a dounut pan}

Then you can have yummy {healthy}

baked dounuts!

Krispy Kreme better watch out!

At least a dounut is a good way to

start out a Monday!

Strawberry and Cream {Mini} Cupcakes

Friday started out rainy

like you can see here...

but it turned out like this!

So the Bop and I went for a nice

{long} walk

{She still looks so funny}
but all I could think about were

these yummy looking cupcakes.
For Christmas my mom got me
a {mini} cupcake pan..

So, while the hubs was out golfing...

I was slaving baking away

in the Kitchen.

Ever since our trip to Pasadena

the hubs has been asking for cupcakes

{what happened to him?!}

So, SURPRISE!

Strawberry and Cream Cupcakes!

TWO {2} Ingredients!

White Cake Mix

12 ounces of Strawberry soda..

Cream Cheese Frosting to top them off!

Now there are 48 mini cupcakes
sitting on the counter....

{Semi} New Obsession

I didn’t expect to move to SoCal

and have to wear my

WINTER COAT.

Since it’s been chilly cold…

the only thing to keep my warm

{I only have one once a year, now}

{Part Two}

Like I said in yesterday's post

B-Mert and I headed to

Pasadena for the Saturday!

We finished exploring

Old Town

made a stop by the

Rose Bowl…

Before heading to….

The Horse Track!

I had never been to a horse track

and

did not know what to expect!

My first bet!

I ended the day being 2-0

winning a grand total of $1.00!

while BD end…

Overall it was a fun experience!

and I’m a pro working on my skills!

{Picking a horse by it’s color or name could work!}

After a long day up “north”

it headed home just in time to dig into

theses babies!

While B-Mert and I devoured the

{mini} cupcakes

Bentley had an ice cream waffle bowl!

While walking around Old Town

I spotted “Three Dog Bakery”

and got sucked wanted to go in…

Saturday {Part One}

BD and I made plans

that Saturday, March 19th, we would:

Go to Pasadena!

During the Fall & Winter

most all of our Saturdays are taken up!

So this Spring I asked if we could

Explore!

First Stop:

{Old Town Pasadena to be exact}

We didn’t really know what we were going to do.

Just spend the day together.

And we were off!

We did a little

walking…

…shopping…

The Jetson’s Couch?

or the low-rider?

Couch shopping

{when you’re not in the market}

can make you hungry!

We decided to hit up

because it had NCAA on

{big factor}

the BEST burgers in Pasadena since 1947!

After we filled our tummies

we stopped here…

Since the Cupcake craze hit I have

been DYING to go to a cupcake shop!

For some yummy

cupcakes!

Mission: Accomplished.
