::Busy Busy Weekend::

BUT FuN fUn FuN....
Like I mentioned in my past post Brett and I were about to have a busy weekend and BUSY was it...
Saturday 8-4.... New Student Registration....
Help new students figure out classes...
Help students figure out summer sports schedules...
Talk to new students...
It might not sound fun or exciting to some of you, but Brett and I had a great time.
It's just such a blessing to be part of a school like Crean Lutheran South.
After New Student Registration Brett and I had the privilege to chaperone Prom...
I love any excuse to get dressed up.... I'm a sucker for it! (Brett is a good sport and goes along with it, because he knows I love it). One of the MANY reasons I love him.
Prom was at a children's museum... might sound weird, but it was GrEaT!
Like a BIG doll house you can play in...
Although, that's not the reason we were there.... we were there to dance chaperone.

We were also lucky enough to spend the Sunday with family and brunch at Corky's! (They have the BEST blueberry pancakes). FYI.

This week we're I'm starting my new adventure as Assistant Director of External Affairs. I'm going out to meet with principals I will be working with. I'm so excited to see what God has in store for me and to begin this "new" chapter of my life. I'm truly blessed! (I am still subbing until June 7th... working 2 jobs).

Since sports are over I'm hoping to get back on meals for the week, but we have a lot of evening activities coming up... With that said here's this weeks menu...

Monday: Pork Ribs and rice

Tuesday: Stir-Fry!

Wednesday: Breakfast (waffles and eggs)

Thursday: Scholar Athlete BBQ

Friday: Celebrate my job?! (Maybe)

Saturday: Pizza!

Sunday: Blueberry Pancakes

It's Official.... This Girl... 

Has a Full time job!!!

Introducing the new Assistant Director of External Affairs at Crean Lutheran South High School.

I could not be more thrilled to see what God has in store for me.  This past year working at CLS has been a blessing to become a 'true' full time Saint is amazing.  Brett and I love CLS... the people.... the students... the staff... we love our jobs!  (Sometimes that rare to find, but we've found a place we love).  

In other news.... We have a very BUSY end to the school year... While most of you are counting down the days in single-digits till summer we still have 20 something days.  Tomorrow we have New Student Registration and Prom. (I'll post pictures hopefully soon after).  

We finished off Softball.

I haven't posted about this recently, but I have to.... please see picture below and make your guess....

2 boxes Rice Krispies, 2 boxes Frosted Flakes, 4 boxes Corn Flakes, 4 pack of yogurt, cheese, pizza sauce, rice, and mushrooms.... and $6 for my next shopping trip....

I paid a total of $5.68

...I MaDe MoNeY...

On the other hand we DO NOT need cereal ANY TIME soon..... While unpacking our new 8 boxes we found more and more cereal... oops!  Sometimes it is just too hard to pass up a GREAT deal.  I heart couponing.

Well, it's Friday night... Pizza and Movie night with the hubster.

Yes,  I am FINALLY getting around to catching up on blogging! This is pathetic it's been TWO weeks.  I have no excuse... I've wanted to update for awhile now, but have NO idea were to start.

April 30th (that seems so long ago) I was lucky enough to go to another taping of the Bonnie Hunt show.  Her show was especially for teachers.  We got some freebies... the best one tickets to LEGOLAND.  I'm stoked!

Brett and I have been busy finishing up Spring sports.  I'm finished with Tennis and we have our last two softball games this week.  I'm not sure what I'm going to do with all my free time.  Brett will still have spring ball for football.  We have a few busy weekends coming up.... Prom... New Student Orientation...Graduation....  and more...
School's going great.... We LOVE Crean and could not be happier with our decision to move to California last summer.  We're so excited to see what else is in store for us out here.  
Dinners have been hectic  here... kind of makes me sad.... This week hopefully that will be different!
Sunday:  Waffles.... Pancakes.... Mexican.... not too sure yet
Monday:  Golf Tournament Dinner (Brett is playing in our school's golf tournament tomorrow)
